MyBrighton & Hove (2018)
          

MyBrighton & Hove was a project run by local woman Lucy Groenewoud with local homelessness centres. The goal was simple: do the same project as MYLONDON. That was using 100 single-use film cameras (Fujifilm QuickSnap) with local people affected by homelessness.

The project was in the summer of 2018 and supported by Cafe Art. It resulted in an exhibition and a 2019 calendar which was sold online in a Kickstarter before it was published. If you are interested in doing a similar project on a budget, please check out the video on the Kickstarter page.

 

The funds raised paid for the exhibition and printing of 1,000 calendars. Participants were paid prize money and received copies of their photos.
